Justine has been in the circus world since age 9. In 1997 she found her passion in the circus arts while studying at the École de cirque de Québec. Already she loved to be thrown in the air! From 2002 to 2003, Justine performed a trio banquine number with Cirque Eos. At the age of 15, Justine entered the National Circus School, where she met Philippe Renaud, her hand-to-hand partner. From this partnership she has achieved one of her greatest wishes: to become a circus artist. In 2007 Justine received her diploma of collegial studies in circus arts. From a young age Philippe loved sports. He spent his summers at the summer camp Géronimo, where he discovered the circus arts. Beginning at the age of 13, he participated in trampoline competitions, where he devoted most of his free time. Analytical by nature, and passionate about computer sciences, he is also a very strong and athletic person. At the end of high school, Philippe made the decision to devote himself to the circus arts. At 16, he entered the National Circus School where he met Justine, becoming her partner and base in their hand-to-hand number. In 2007 Philippe received his diploma of collegial studies in circus arts. During their three years at the National Circus School, Justine and Philippe developed a high calibre hand-to-hand act, with both static and dynamic movements. Philippe has also created an act on the roue Cyr. Having collectively two numbers, they also possess a solid training in acrobatic, juggling, dance, acting, music and singing. Multidisciplinary, Justine and Philippe are two young determined artists who have the desire to create. |
